A new insurance model deserves an original brand identity. Unlike the insurance that you know and feel indifference to, Picnic is a community where everyone brings something to the table. Backed by Blockchain, it’s for policyholders not shareholders.
For this digital-only offering we created a flexible brand identity that could remain recognisable from app icon to website. With a striking smorgasbord of a colour palette, we could make Picnic stand out from big corporate competitors. We suggested the spreading of a picnic blanket with a wavy motif throughout the website and sourced images that were dynamic, friendly and about people coming together.
And yes, we did find ourselves eating more than usual over the course of this project. We’re avid researchers like that.
