We’re looking for a go-getting Senior Account Manager to join our team.

SAMs are a senior point of contact for our existing clients; creating a community of strong relationships, as well as acting as the client’s representative within the agency. No two days are the same across a mix of retainer and project clients ranging from FMCG to e-commerce, tech products, property development, financial institutions, NFPs, education and more.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring that Chello maintains and expands relationships with key clients by delivering value and exceeding their objectives. You’ll represent the entire range of agency services and plan the most effective deliverables and outcomes, ensuring the work delivered by the creative and production teams is of the highest quality and meets the objectives of the brief.
You’ll report on pipeline of work and how you’re tracking to revenue targets, your strategic approach and identifying opportunities for the agency amongst existing clients and managing up to superiors as required. You will be required to work on client-facing pitches alongside the creative and strategy teams; asking tough questions and making sure we have enough information from the client to brief the team internally.
You’re the left brain to a bunch of creative right brains. You’ll be required to organise: scoping, quoting, proposal, briefing internally, host kick-off meetings, wrap meetings and through to delivery. There’s a bunch of admin involved too, organising people and things to be where they need to be at the right time. You will ensure ideas remain faithful to the brief and are kept within the timeframe and budget.
The successful candidate must have experience in:
- Account Management within a creative agency environment
- Creating and maintaining timelines
- Tracking sales to budgets
- Clear written communication
- Quoting/Invoicing/managing budgets
- Strategic thinking
- Building rapport with clients
- Seeking out opportunities and adding more value than asked for
- Sales and running client workshops
- Attention to detail
