In the studio

Moving on up

Is that the clink of glasses coming from the video and production teams? Yes, yes it is. Ceri, Lauren and Shea recently celebrated well-earned promotions to Senior Producer, Junior Producer and Director of Video respectively. Just rewards for the incredible run of shooting work this dream team has been on.

Introducing a few new faces as we continue to grow. And they already have their own collective noun/band name — The Triple Js. Joel Stylis, Senior Motion Designer, Josh Lee, Video Editor and Jesse Saffner, Senior Account Manager. Check out their bios on our website for more background insight on this triple threat.

Everyone and their Doge

On the work side of things, we were very humbled by the response to the Caleb & Brown rebrand and campaign that’s now out there in the wild. Having worked with their team for a while now it was a real moment for all involved to see the result of an all-agency effort. Check out the full story here.

Recognition for a leading lady

And finally, though it turns out the win wasn’t to be, we are still incredibly proud of Christina for her nomination in this year’s B&T Women in Media awards. CK is a model example of championing women in the workplace. Always leading with her actions, she has built a diverse accounts team that includes women with a range of experiences and perspectives, implementing initiatives designed to elevate their status by letting them know that it’s ok to be excellent.

Cognisant of the fact that women do 21 hours more unpaid work each week than men, CK has led the way for her team in both how to achieve as a woman in our industry, but also defining a true work-life balance, even codifying how both are achieved with an Account Management 101 Playbook.

And she truly walks the walk, proving her expertise time and time again, with one notable peak among many being her leadership of Shopify’s first-ever fully localised Australian awareness campaign. So, while the win wasn’t to be, the mentorship and everyday excellence CK brings to the team marks her out as a champion regardless.

And that’s a wrap for this edition of In the studio. Looking for more? Check out some of the recent work we’re pretty proud of here.
