As close to too-weird as you can get

TV maker, PRISM+, took a bizarre approach with their trio of ads that seize attention by diving into jarringly-strange settings, that viscerally convey the quality of their screens and sound systems. The campaign line ties all this together, with a clever changeable construction that starts with ‘As close as you can get…’, and then applies a different finish that speaks to the TV experience of the episode.

Rover bring pet-speak to life

Rover, the pet-sitting platform, perfectly capture the spirit of pet-ownership in their ‘To my hooman’ spot. Speaking form the perspective of the pet, Rover convey the tension owners experience when looking for someone to care for their pet. As Rover puts it, ‘If you love your pet, you hate leaving them behind. Luckily, while we’re are off doing “hooman things,” our pets are having a blast with their sitter on Rover.’ Despite the deliberately off-beat VO, we’d say this one is pretty pitch-perfect.

Sharp choreography from BLUNT Umbrellas

Finally, In their latest ad BLUNT Umbrellas showed off the design quality and stylish playfulness of their brand. A highly-satisfying watch, that gets to the heart of why BLUNT are the category leaders that they are — their umbrellas just work, however much you throw at them. The campaign moniker, ‘engineering joy’, really says it all.
